Our name, Lighthouse Communities, was chosen very intentionally. In the neighborhoods where we have been invited to be a part of the revitalization effort, our focus is the whole community, not just the houses. Because of our community wide focus, Lighthouse bases its work on highly intentional, mutually beneficial relationships, partnerships, and collaborations.

We would love to have you be a part of Lighthouse Communities' community revitalization efforts. There are innumerable ways for you to get involved at Lighthouse. Here are just a few ideas:

• Job Opportunities: From time to time Lighthouse Communities will post job openings on this page of our site: none available at this time
  If you would like to be a part of the Lighthouse team, please feel free to email or fax your resume.
  
• Volunteer: Lighthouse always has work projects available for small and large work crews. Whether you are handy person and are looking to help out with minor rehab and repair projects or a Church group with 50 teens full of energy and waiting to get dirty we have a job for you.
• Donate Services: Lighthouse Communities can make use of almost any professional service... accountants, painters, lawyers, plumbers, graphic designers, writers, even chief cook and bottle washers. If you have an area of expertise and would like to give back to the community we can help plug you in.
• Donate Goods: Lighthouse receives donations of all types; supplies, building materials, vehicles, even homes.
• Donate Cash: Please keep in mind that a very large percentage of Lighthouse's income is restricted or based on production goals, so it is important for us to maintain a small percentage of our budget through charitable contributions. Maintaining a reasonable amount of non-restricted funds allows Lighthouse to operate through times of temporary cash flow issues, and to provide more on time services to our community.

Lighthouse needs to raise $100,000 each year in charitable contributions to continue our work.
