Home Ownership
Lighthouse acquires, redevelops, and sells 20 homes annually. Each home is completely renovated using new, modern, and energy efficient materials.
Our home ownership program is designed to offer incentives to attract a diverse pool of home buyers -- both buyers that have a choice and buyers that need a form of subsidy.
Because there are other agencies that do new construction, Lighthouse focuses only on rehab.
As with all our development programs, Lighthouse maintains our intentional focus on using local builders and suppliers, making sure jobs and dollars stay in our community.
Contact Alisa White (ext 229) or Venessa Remo (ext 234) to find out about financing options available to you.
Rental Development
Lighthouse owns and manages 98 affordable apartments. Lighthouse Communities apartments were built or renovated using a variety of State and Local funds which ensure that they will remain affordable for the next 30 years!
These apartments not only provide newly remodeled, affordable places for residents of limited income to live, they also represent a $15,200,000 investment in the community.
Lighthouse is intentional to use local contractors and suppliers to ensure that the development dollars stay in the community.
